I help bridge the gap in enterprise storage between on-prem and cloud. I primarily work with fun stuff like Ansible, Terraform, Python, and of course all things NetApp. • Assist account team with research, report automation, technical demos, and anything else needed: ° Developed a CLI in Python, distributed as a standalone executable on Windows, Linux, or Mac, to convert Microsoft Planner data into a custom Excel report format. ° Developed a containerized app (Python/Django) that used APIs to gather metrics from disparate sources in order to automate charts and reporting. ° Created an ONTAP Select BC/DR demo for automatic failover/failback of ONTAP FlexVol volumes and NFS mounts on CentOS using Ansible AWX. ° Created a CI/CD pipeline demo in Drone.io that showed how Packer, Terraform, and Ansible could work together to build VM images and deploy them into a NetApp HCI environment backed by vCenter. ° Support the global NetApp hybrid cloud environment at Walmart, including ONTAP, HCI, OCI, and E-Series: - Monitor and report on storage availability, utilization, and performance. - Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software. - Perform preventive maintenance. - Troubleshoot problems with the team, creating technical support cases as needed. - Perform storage audits and health checks. - Document standard operating procedures. ° Assist with DevOps projects as requested, for example: - Migration from NetApp Workflow Automation to Ansible AWX/Tower. - Splunk/Prometheus integration with ONTAP. - API-driven Python CLI to automate Cloud Volumes ONTAP deployments with SnapMirror replication to on-premise clusters. ° Consult with other NetApp PS Residents or Account teams as needed on DevOps and hybrid cloud topics. ° Participate in NetApp PS initiatives such as the Team Collaboration Framework Build-out team and the Active IQ Focus Team.

I worked 20 hours a week for the school in exchange for tuition assistance at Oklahoma Wesleyan University as a Graduate Assistant, under the supervision of Professor David Cochran. I did all facets of website development.

I worked under our sports editor, Mike Tupa, reporting on all the local sports happenings and building the sports section using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I got to go to a lot of games and events to cover them, including the NCAA Division 2 Lone Star Conference Championship and the NAIA Division 2 National Championship. I wrote a lot of stories and called a lot of coaches. My favorite sporting event to cover, however, was the first game of the area high school football season, the rivalry of Nowata and Dewey. It was always a great game.
