Connected directly to the very highest levels of the military. ►Provided critical support to Joint Task Force Hurricane Rita (identified as a “Top Performer”), oversaw numerous successful national and local disaster exercises, and a Presidential visit to the base.►Hired to turnaround a broken department. ►Managed daily operations at the Air Force’s largest aerial port facility; Instructor and Aircraft Commander.► Wing Command Post, Director of Operations. Initiated and led Dover Air Force Base’s immediate response to the 9/11 attacks in the absence of command guidance. Secured the base, safely diverted aircraft throughout the world, provided direct support for Secretary Colin Powell, and coordinated transfer of victims from the Pentagon to the mortuary at Dover during the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
