For the past decade I have worked for Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. as a commercial diver and most recently as a NDT Supervisor/Inspector/Tech. With Phoenix I work as a civilian contactor for the United States Navy, in commercial shipyards, and within the oil and gas industry in the United States as well as internationally. My experience in NDT/NDE includes a wide variety of responsibilities. Some of these include conducting inspections, generating reports, supervising NDT personnel, conducting personnel training and qualifications, equipment maintenance/qualification, as well as project management responsibilities such as, bids and proposals, cost tracking, and purchasing. My certifications include NDT level II in Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing/Inspection (MT/MPI), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and training towards ASNT NDT level III certification.My capacity as a commercial diver includes work in subsea construction, inspection, maintenance, and ship's husbandry. I have experience supervising and diving in shallow water air diving projects. I also have deep air and mixed gas diving experience as well as some experience piloting the Atmospheric Dive System (ADS) HARDSUIT 1200 in numerous operational projects.Throughout my time working in this industry, in both NDT and diving roles, I have acquired multiple industry certifications. Certifications include small crane operations, industrial equipment operation, hot work safety, water survival, confined space safety/gas free, emergency medical certifications, and other job site specific certifications.

Served as a team leader/squad leader in an infantry platoon during a 4 year enlistment which included two combat deployments. Served as a combat instructor for a battalion sized pre-deployment training facility. Tasked in multiple leadership roles which included the operational coordination, training, instruction, and the well being of fellow marines at the team/squad level during combat deployments. These responsibilities also carried through into the platoon/company level as a combat instructor. Achieved a meritorious promotion to Non-commissioned officer at the rank of Corporal. Completed enlistment at the rank of Sergeant with an Honorable Discharge.
