These new products, technologies, and processes would ultimately become integrated with or transferred to teams or manufacturing units within the broader global business.

Led a team that was responsible for site quality management systems (ISO9001:2015), global supplier management (Taiwan, China, U.S.), local and global product quality, and driving the site toward a total quality management system. These efforts effected positive local and global improvements across all aspects of the organization including engineering, software, operations, logistics, and customer service.

Responsibilities expanded to include Quarq branded products manufactured globally. This included leading a team that transferred both knowledge, electrical and mechanical suppliers, and production equipment from South Dakota to Taiwan.

Started career at Quarq as the second Electrical Engineer. Since Quarq was a start-up, responsibilities included new product design and qualification, manufacturing and process development, and manufacturing and process quality control. Experience included: PCBA design, existing product support, failure analysis, production fixture design, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, A3/8D, vendor qualification and development, and regulatory compliance monitoring.

Responsible for the maintenance and corrective action programs for two Cooper Bessemer diesel engines used for the emergency cooling system of the boiling water reactor.
