I'm a recent law graduate from the Washington & Lee School of Law, and passed the July 2024 Maryland Bar Exam. I’ve since moved to Chicago and am exploring legal roles as my fiancé is at Kellogg. This past spring, I served as a in-house legal extern at Augusta Health in Fisherville Virginia. During my 2L summer, I was a renewable energy associate at GreeneHurlocker in Richmond, Virginia. During my 1l summer, I served at the Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office in Mayville, NY as a legal intern. After graduating Dartmouth College in 2017, where I majored in English, I spent four years as a healthcare journalist at GenomeWeb, an online genomics news site, where I reported on the liquid biopsy beat and other genomics-focused topics. My passion for drafting news on complicated scientific topics motivated me to spend time writing simplified articles so that my colleagues can understand what's exactly happening in the scientific world. After covering regulatory and transactional matters such as corporate mergers & acquisitions, litigation about breaches of contracts and intellectual property theft, and federal investigations regarding questionable business practices, my experiences guided me to attend law school, where I learned and further crafted my analytical and writing abilities about the legal issues inherent in these types of cases.
