John Flynn is a registered architect (NY, OR) with 25 years of experience and has spent his career designing, managing and executing complex and challenging projects for a wide range of clients. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional. Following his Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University GSAPP, John worked in New York City, France and Hong Kong before moving to Oregon in 1993.John is a founding principal and managing member of RESOLVE Architecture + Planning, LLC which was formed in late 2013. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Principal/ Managing Director of the Portland office of MulvannyG2 Architecture. He has also taught at the University of Oregon’s Portland Program in Urban Architecture and Marylhurst University’s Interior Design program. John was the Project Manager/Project Architect for the award-winning Ford Family Foundation Headquarters Building in Roseburg, Oregon and most recently completed, as lead Architect for RESOLVE, the Reuse & Electrical Complex (REC) for Clean Water Services at their Forest Grove (OR) facility.John is currently serving as President of the Oregon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
