Working in the niche industry of providing event logistics, media relations and exceptional customer service to automobile manufacturers and automotive journalists. This effort requires tact, patience and flexibility. I possessed none of those traits when my career began in 1988. In fact, back then, I didn't recognize I had started my career. Today, I am proud to be celebrating my 35th year in this evolving and exciting industry.Here are a few things I have learned along the way...Don't ask someone to do something you are not prepared to do yourself.Trust but verify.On time is ten minutes late.Also, the phrase "It's just business" is BS. I see no value in separating my work life and personal life. I take my career personally and I'm deeply committed to those around me (co-workers, clients and customers). I treat the people I work for and with like family. I don't see how I could do this any other way.Goals? This is a marathon not a sprint, still running. Specialties: A true embrace of customer service, a long forgotten art form.
