The RVP of Fulfillment & Transportation is responsible for leading and delivering world class service and expense results from Retail Distribution Centers, Regional Fulfillment Centers, Staples Delivery Operations, and 3rd party couriers. Currently responsible for 4 Fulfillment center in Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina and 1 Retail Distribution Center in Maryland as well as all Final Mile Transportation operations (over 35) that services these locations. This position manages a diverse work force in both limited and highly automated environments. Span of responsibility started with 4 fulfillment centers and 4 delivery operations in the Mid-Atlantic region. By 2010, the position had grown to include 7 fulfillment centers, 7 delivery operations, and a mixing center, with 5 of the fulfillment centers located in Canada.A key achievement during this time was the successful installation of a new, multi-million dollar system for shelving, tracking and packing items that utilized 500 mobile robots. This initiative more than doubled output per hour and lowered the cost structure in Staples by 50 basis points. The new, quieter work environment was a hit with employees.

Promoted from Operations Manager at Staples to lead the conversion of this facility from a "retail" inventory system to an in-house designed inventory/order management system.Named Manager of the Year in 2000 as a result of implementing processes and procedures that saved the company more than a million dollars.Created a daily operating report (DOR) to track hours and boxes and pallets received/shipped by departments. This report later became the standard for Staples throughout the U.S. and Canada.Assisted in the start-up of the fulfillment center in London, OH.
