I am a founding partner of Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton and have worked with Harley Tropin and Chuck Throckmorton for almost 40 years. I am now Of Counsel to the firm, but remain active , supportive and quite proud.I am a Fellow in both the American College of Bankruptcy and the American College of Trial Lawyers. I have played a major role in bankruptcy courts across the nation, representing business owners, lenders, creditors' committees, and major creditors, and have been appointed a trustee and receiver.I have frequently written and lectured on bankruptcy and workout issues and have participated in seminars in many states. My passion is promoting diversity and inclusion in the community, with particular emphasis on mentoring programs for black law school students throughout Florida.. Please check our my foundation at www.kmmfoundation.org. I have also devoted much of my time and resources over the past year in battling Parkinson's Disease. Both of my parents had PD. I was Chair of the National Parkinson Foundation and was heavily involved in its merger with the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. I chaired the merged entity, the Parkinson's Foundation, for 2 years and am now on its Emeritus Board.
