Managed a group of 10 psychologists, economists, statistitians and engineers.Resposible for research and regulation associated with commercial vehicles, buses, taxis, over size vehicles of all types, and goods regulated to rail.Introduced a new real world taxi cost model for determining taxi fares.Developed and had brought in regulations for oversize and overmass agricultural machinery;Negotiated with 210 local government councils to bring ina permit scheme allowing the GCM of vehicles to go from 38 tonnes to 41 tonnes.Developed and drafted the specifications and conditions for the introduction of B-Doubles to Victoria.Victorian representative in national forums negotiating the introduction of speed limiters (fought for 110 km/h as the limit unsuccessfully), possible introduction of tachographs, and issues to do with fatigue.
