Military Sealift Command, Ships Support Unit BahrainJan 2018 - CurrentSite Manager Forward Deployed for Military Sealift Command Supply Support Unit, Manama, Bahrain- As the Site Manager acted as the focal point of all logistical requirements and support for Military Sealift Command Bahrain Ship Support Unit and all deployed MSC Ships in the 5th Fleet AOR. -Planned, managed, determined and coordinated all supplies for Ships Support Unit (SSU) Bahrain’s mission. -Tracked, traced and expedited shipping and delivery of CASREP/ANORS requisitions and high priority repair parts, GFM, GSK and all materials needed in support for MSC ships during their scheduled voyage repair, alteration and overhaul. -Managed MSC warehouse while maintaining 100% inventory and accountability of all overhaul and residual material and repair parts through the Corrective Maintenance Logistic System (CMLS) while maximizing optimum utilization of government assets and storage spaces for effective warehousing operation. -Ensured the proper documentation and disposal of all MSC property in support of maintenance activities to ensure proper compliance of instructions and policies. -Generated Duty-Free and No Objection Letters for all MSC inbound materials and containers to expedite delivery and avoid expensive demurrage fees. -Engages NAVSUP FLC, AV Unit cargo and Air Clearance Authority (ACA) for timely approval for transportation and shipment of materials for further delivery to MSC ships in the AOR, provides tracking and in-transit visibility (ITV) to all concerned. Engaged the various Supply entities like DLA and FISC for shipment and material status. -Validated requirements for Allowance Parts Listing/Allowance Equipment List Number (AEL/APL) to reflect Maintenance Data System (MDS) for MSC ships-Liaison with Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Bahrain regarding daily material deliveries to MSC ships moored at Mina Salman, ASRY and Khalifa Bin Salman ports.
