John is a Partner at PwC and leads PwC Cloud and Data practice. During his time at PwC John had held various roles including Retail Banking Sector leader; EMEA FS technology leader; Digital Banking leader and global Digital Banking co-chair. John has led a number of large client transformation programmes through the full lifecycle in Retail, Commercial and Investment Banks in the UK and Europe. John particularly focuses on large IT transformations and change programmes, having worked for 8 years at IBM before joining PwC in 2009. Over the recent past John has been focused on working with the large banks and the regulator on improving the resilience of banks IT systems. Including:Leading an infrastructure review of a Global Bank for service resilience of UK Critical Economic Functions for the UK Regulators;An EMEA IT transformation for a Global bank involving transitioning all EMEA infrastructure services into a new single service entity;Simplification and standardisation of IT service management processes for a global bank to improve consistency and reduce risk;Assurance of large technology enabled transformation programmesDeveloping digital and fintech strategies for Banks
