Reported to the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Innovation and Energy Technology Sector at Natural Resources Canada. Led Canada's largest clean energy R&D centre working on state-of-the-art technologies destined for buildings and communities, industrial energy efficiency, bio-energy, transportation, electric power generation, including renewable power and carbon capture and storage. Developed broad networks of public-private partnerships (PPP) and industry consortia to perform fee-for-service R&D for industry. Provided expert and non-partisan advice to Minister, policymakers and regulators. Performed due-diligence and governance on government funded programs.

Directed the development of Canada's space science program hardware and science integration. Managed the CSA's highly-qualified personnel responsible for the program delivery. Responsible for the development of specifications, contract award (mainly through EPCM contracts), negotiation with other space agencies with launch capabilities, integration with multi-national mission teams, monitoring during mission operations and return of scientific results.

Canada is the only non-European member of ESA. Though our long term agreement with ESA, Canadian technology developers, have access to a variety of ESA's space missions. As Canada's representative on the Industrial Policy Committee, it was my job to make sure that Canadian companies received relevant contracts from ESA according to ESA's "juste retour" policy.

LTI is a project and management consulting firm, specializing in military and space technology projects.

Managed large group of professionals responsible for process control, quality improvement and cost reduction for the entire plant. Developed new processes for the strategic development of the company. Provided process expertise to troubleshoot production problems at the plant in Tracy, Canada and occasionally, at Richards Bay Minerals, Republic of South Africa.
