Background: 30-years career in the Telecommunications industry with a strong emphasis on product development and product marketing roles. He began his career at Telenet (DARPA spinoff), became SPRINT, where he grew its data products division to $1 billion in revenue and managed the Economic Analysis Group that built their financial models needed to prioritize multi-million dollar investment projects. At COMSAT, integrated new satellite technology into customers' business models, positioning the company as a leading provider of advanced satellite technology. While Chairman and CEO of Linguateq, Inc, a company that specialized in integration technology for the Telecom industry, the company received venture capital backing from Polaris Ventures and Generation Partners and became recognized for its "best in class integration platform", serving clients like Alcatel, and Siemens. The company was recognized as one of WDC's "Fast 50" companies, American Networks' "Red Hot Start-ups," and the "Top Business Plan" award from Venture East Conference. At Comsys, made the Inc 500 list of fasted growing companies for 3 years. Served on the Boards of Sibley Hospital/Johns Hopkins Hospital System (JHHS) and the local health clinic.BS in Mathematics from Marietta College, an MBA in Finance from American University, and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. Also, a former commissioned offer in the Strategic Air Command (SAC).
