Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, my personal mandate is to change the way people interact with technology in the Bay Area, and the world. At any company I helm or support, our mission is to democratize technology consulting costs and to innovate where others choose to simply profit.Starting out my first IT consulting company in a small house in 2006, I've now worked in almost every layer of the IT industry spanning multiple careers over 17+ years. While my roots are with high-end residential support in terms of smart homes and technical renovations, I also have a deep knowledge of business IT, sales, and technical infrastructure. Currently, I primarily support the SMB sector, providing consultations across a wide-range of industries at my personal consulting company and partner organizations. At my personal firm TechInSF, we have expanded far past our original scope to offer one of the most comprehensive support teams available on the west coast, utilizing traditional IT teams with additional members from security, low-voltage contracting, full stack development, and audio/visual systems. In my management style, I strive to have a vendor-neutral approach with trained technicians unrivaled in the industry. I stay on top of new technologies and as such have experience at the bleeding edge of tech in subjects like blockchain, AI, virtual reality, and InfoSec solutions. I do this with outstanding research acumen and a dedicated approach towards paying attention to what's next. We take it a step further though, offering community outreach, dedicated pro-bono hours to small business, and more to show we are committed to servicing San Francisco as real engines of positive change. Aside from my work in technical consulting, I like to offer mentorship and training classes for individuals interested in IT careers. I offer foundational skills training, business skills training, sponsorship, and many more opportunities for strong professionals who would like to get involved in the fields of technical consulting, IT administration, and cable wiring. The IT world is rife with people at the top who don't understand field work, and people at the bottom who lack communication skills necessary to succeed. For those who work with me, it's easy to see the difference I bring to the table, and the support I bring to teams I lead. We are changing things, and we always love to meet people who are rising to that challenge.
