Job includes:- Modeling products in SolidWorks, from concepts to complete final products- Creating shop drawings in SolidWorks for fabrication - Managing design review meetings, including facilitating conversation about product improvements- Communicating directly with clients to ensure their needs are addressed- Identifying customer needs through frequent design review meetings, emails, and calls- Installing completed products on client sites- Training end-users on product usage and maintenance- Writing operation and maintenance manuals- Creating decals and labels to be used on products- Generating Bill of Materials and shop support documentation- Structural steel detailing using both SolidWorks and Tekla Softwares- Site visits for dimensional verifications and project planning- Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to manage product data, part numbers, day to day communication, etc. And I love it! Fantastic people doing great work. I get to interact with most of the departments at HHI, and it's an absolute pleasure to help each group out when I can. Beyond my time doing design, analysis, and drafting I frequently get to help with recruiting, sales, fabrication, and install! I'm super grateful for the variety of experience I get each and every day.
