Innotribe connects the FinTech ecosystem to the Financial services industry, to solve common challenges with innovative solutionsAs head of Innotribe I lead a team of innovation managers, working closely with business counterparts to identify opportunities to deliver PoV to solve real business challenges. I am also responsible for delivering Innotribe @ Sibos, a 4 day content programme, at the heart of the worlds leading financial services conference, bringing lessons from outside the industry to showcase how others approach innovationInside SWIFT the role of Innotribe is to bring those outside lessons into our internal R&D processes, as well as connecting startups and scale ups with different business colleagues to deliver business insights.

heading up the internal R&D programme from an innotribe perspective, bringing a new innovation methodology into the company, to allow rapid iterations in a Lean Startup inspired approach, where we can work with our customers to Build, Measure and Learn solutions at a very early stage.One key way we will do this in 2016 is through The newly launched Industry Challenge programme. This is a new initiative where the Innotribe team will work closely with SWIFT member organisations to identify key business areas that could benefit from collaborative solutions. As a part of this programme, Innotribe will organise a number of business-specific challenges to bring SWIFT member institutions and internal teams together with solution providers and a hand-picked group of FinTech startups. Together these teams will deeply explore potential opportunities for select business areas during the workshops, and following this, we will work on Proof of Concepts with our customers to develop solutions for the industry.

Managing the Innotribe Startup Global ChallengeLaunched in 2011, Innotribe Startup Challenge's mission was to bring visibility to activities at the edges of our ecosystem, highlighting the importance of these new emerging companies called startups and their revolutionary way to think and work. Over the years, the Startup Challenge has become one of the leading global startup competitions, connecting the financial services industry with more than 650 FinTech startups around the world and reaching over 4,000 audience members through global showcases and networking events. The Innotribe Startup Challenge 2015 was a big success with over 370 applications from across the globe, and the 2015 winner was Hyperledger.In 2016, the Startup Challenge will focus on discovering and supporting emerging FinTech ecosystems. For the second consecutive year, Innotribe will partner with the SWIFT African Regional Conference (ARC) to tap into the high potential of African startups. During my time at SWIFT I have been involved in the rollout of a collaborative enterprise 2.0platform for the financial community (swiftcommunity.net). During this time I have been part ofa team of 3 who launched and managed this platform from start-up through to maturity.My main roles have been in the technical management of the platform, the support of theplatform and the users. I have also created the support documentation of the project, creationof specifications documents & contracts for our external suppliers, contract negotiations.
