The new systems, combined with re-engineered and automated processes, resulted in a roughly 50% reduction in manual processing in the administrative areas and introduced real-time dashboards for management as well as the staff. During the project I managed personnel in Europe as well as multiple locations in the US.I brought stability to the IT infrastructure, virtually eliminating virus infections, spam and un-planned downtime. I introduced collaboration tools and mobile computing. This allowed people to work from anywhere, boosting productivity and eliminating the need to halt business operations due to weather related events or other problems.

This was done by replacing the old phone systems with Skype for Business. Installed Meraki WiFi hotspots in all office spaces, allowing for collaboration in while in meetings.• Ensured end-to-end security of sensitive customer information by implementing an encrypted customer portal, encrypted email and fully encrypting all computers and mobile devices and ensuring that all vendors also secured such data.• Reduced exposure to cyber threats through Cisco firewalls, SecureWorks intrusion prevention systems, Mimecast spam filter, CyberArk privilege manager, Sophos anti-virus, and ensured PCs were all up-to-date with a remote software deployment system. • Increased system reliability and recoverability by moving Exchange email and the SharePoint intranet to Office 365, virtualizing the servers using Hyper-V and installing Compellent SANs (storage area networks), with hourly replication of data between offices. Verified the ability to restore the main datacenter to an alternate site through yearly disaster recovery tests.
