Program director for a large organization. Led organization of 900+ active and reserve Marines and ~50 USMC Assault Amphibian Vehicles valued in excess of $200M. Led organization in training and education, operations, community outreach, business development, and maintenance and sustainment. Organization was diverse in nature with operating centers based in Florida, Texas, and Virginia. Specific accomplishment: Organized, implemented and led unit growth plan to double the size of the organization both in manpower and materiel over a four-year period. Supervised planning actions for asset induction, geographic location lay down, and recruiting actions to increase manpower gradually as training assets were received. Improved unit maintenance procedures and supply chain management through an intensive supervisory inspection and feedback process. Actions increased unit proficiency from 45 percent to 80 percent across accountability, maintenance, and supply functional areas. Completed higher-level inspections encompassing human resources, safety, and environmental compliance with scores averaging above 90%.
