Engineers Without Borders at Wright State University initiated a Sanitation Project at St. Bakhita’s Secondary School in Kabingo, Uganda. As Project Lead, I managed Engineers Without Borders student travel to Kabingo in May 2022 for the conduction of an Assessment/ Data Collection trip. I oversaw the use of community surveys and data collection on current community infrastructure to generate a list of feasible projects that address the community’s needs. In continuation of this, I led the Uganda Project planning team during the fall semester of 2023. We used AutoCad to design Latrine and Washroom renovations for the school. The team traveled back to the community in January 2024 to implement our designs.
