I joined Anchor QEA when it was a small upstart firm of about 20 people in 2001. Our growth has given me a lot of opportunities to get involved in different aspects of the company. I initiated, built and then led our GIS program over 11 years until 2012. I led Anchor QEA's Planning and Restoration Discipline managing over 50 engineers, scientists, planners and landscape architects for 6 years until 2018. I currently hold Professional Landscape Architect licenses in WA, OR, and CA.My professional passions include taking on challenging projects leading or participating on dynamic, creative multidisciplinary teams. My project work focuses on ecological restoration of stream, wetland and shoreline sites. I also lead large planning efforts including shoreline management plans, voluntary stewardship plans and growth management plans. I bring a background in science and environmental permitting that is uncommon among landscape architects, allowing me to take on a variety of roles and lead diverse multi disciplinary project teams effectively.Outside of work I love mountain biking, kayaking and telemark skiing. I am happiest in the wild rivers and high mountains of the west. I support my community through volunteering, land stewardship and advocacy.
