Served as the Project Manager, appointed as the subcontracting company working under DM Roads, to complete the scope of works enlisted by the client, Cumberland City Council. Construction works consisted of beautifying major and minor parts of commercial/residential areas. This included, but not limited to: repair of roads and footpaths, driveways, kerb and gutter, speed humps, storm drains and pram ramps.Completing these jobs required daily review and forecasting of current works, and projected works to ensure deadlines are met. Generally, jobs will be running concurrently, that raised the significance of adhering to safety procedures prior to conducting works.Materials and team member management was critical in ensuring success - this required meticulous understanding of the nature of work, materials required, and allocation of available team members that will provide optimal output.Days were extremely stressful, but this helped increase resilience and tenacity when facing high-pressure situations over the duration of my experience at Mack Civil.
