“If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it.”-Lucille BallAbout Me:I'm actually an 87 year old man on the inside. I like to put on a suit, go swing dancing, read a Reader's Digest from any era and slow dance to a Nat King Cole record with my fly wife. About Fighting, Working, Playing:I fought/won custody of my son in 2009 (I aged five years that one year). I believe in balance - working hard and living life to the full. I am a certified scuba diver, certified (ASA) sailboat skipper, State of Arkansas Officiant, wrote a 2020 book called ‘What Your Walk Says About How You Roll’ and recorded the Audible audiobook. I won 3 sales contests taking me to Cancun three times. My wife calls me “the hardest working person in the room.” Our honeymoon was 10 days in 2019. When we came back, I had still accomplished more business than the other 7 people in my department (What were they even doing?). I've gone scuba diving with sharks, stingray, snorkeled with whale sharks and at night with octopuses; I've gone sky diving, rappelled down a 170 foot waterfall in Costa Rica and sailed with pods of dolphin. I seriously taught my dogs to say, 'I love you', The feeling is mutual.About Logistics:In 2001 a series of events led me to be on a 4 hour road trip with Mr. JB Hunt. I wish I would have had the foresight to ask better questions. It wasn't until 2003 that I worked for his business. How? Working for a cell phone company, I sold a Sprint Phone to a recruiting manager at JB Hunt. I recruited there for 7 years and gained appreciation for drivers. If we own it, a driver delivered it. Tracking and tracing loads with Transplace/aka Uber Freight (2014-20). Brokering freight with Scott Logistics (2017-2020). And, now I am thankful to have recently become an agent for SPI Logistics. About Trucking & Treating Others:I believe in good communication, continuous improvement, being kind, having dad-jokes or quotable quotes, working hard and the golden rule: treating people how I would want to be treated.
