Opened The Henry Potts in Chester in June 2022 (www.thehenrypotts.co.uk) - a cracking city gastro pub in the basement of the iconic Watergate House in Chester. The pub was fully refurbished between Feb and June 2022.Opened The Hare at Farndon in October 2020 - www.hareatfarndon.co.uk - a village gastro pub which we fully refurnished during lockdown.For both pubs I had overall control over suppliers, product offering, supplier negotiations and consistently maintained expected GP targets.There are four pubs in the company (Swan at Marbury, Black Bear in Whitchurch too). www.pubs.co.ukResponsible for the pubs website design and ongoing content editing for the four pubs and help with social media and other marketing across the group.Started work on improving our tap wine offering in January 2021 - developed our relationship with our supplier in Bordeaux over reciprocal visits and have improved the quality of the entire range whilst maintaining price point to our pubs. Forged links with importers, learnt how to import wine from the EU and oversee the arrangement of deliveries from France to our wine storage facility in the UK. Have now started to import bottled wine alongside our keg offering.Proud to be part of the team that created and developed the recipe for our house ale JPA, a highly quaffable session pale ale that’s available at all Pubs Limited pubs. Created the design for the beer clip and bar towels.
