I started in the construction trade as a young man working for a small contractor and was introduced to concrete construction then. After graduating from high school I attended Missouri State Spfld. on a VeteransScholarship for a short time before deciding to pursue a decent job vrs. A college degree. I soon went to work for Carlisle, a Fortune 500 company. After a three year stay at Carlisle life happened and I met and soon married my wife of now 30 years, Jeannette. We settled in a small town in Mid Missouri and started a family. That’s where I found work and it ended up being a 20 year stay back in the concrete field at Fidus Construction LLC. Needing a new direction with a worn out body I took a less physical demanding superintendent position with Mick White Renovation doing renovations to mainly Marriott branded hotels throughout the eastern portion of the US. Work slowed there and I went to work for my present employer as a Superintendent at Septagon Construction Jefferson City. During my working years so far I have had a hand in many aspects of the construction trade. Teaming with some great Contractors and producing about every thing there is to build. I’ve done hotels, hospitals, office buildings, strip malls, industrial buildings, agricultural buildings, schools, retail shops, swimming pools, and the list could keep going. Some projects were donated, others were several million dollar projects. Presently I am titled as a Superintendent and I also find myself out in the field being involved with the workers and overseeing my project as needed and more. My project goals are to produce a nice fully functional project and ending with a profitable on time job, a minimal punch list and a happy customer who would recommend us and/or hire us in the future. I can still be found at home in Tipton, Missouri enjoying the great outdoors, gardening , riding my Harley and enjoying three grandchildren. My children have grown to adults and live away. My daughter Taylor and her three children and my son Beau, and soon to be DIL Kelsy. Beau is also employed here at Septagon. Thank you for reading and God Bless.
