Jon Frank is a licensed plan advisor with over 35 years' experience in employer-sponsored benefit plans, including 10 years as a human resources director for Calvert Memorial Hospital and 27 years as an agency principal. He has advised hundreds of companies on the design and plan management of employee benefit plans. A recognized innovator, Jon is an expert in consumer driven health plans integrated with tax free spending accounts. Jon is active in Maryland health care reform serving on numerous State and industry advisory committees. Jon is a long time member of the Maryland Association of Health Underwriters and was elected to that organization’s Hall of Fame in 2008. Jon has a B.A. in Sociology from Western Maryland College and M.A. in Health Care Management from Central Michigan University. He achieved Fellowship in the American College of Health Care Executives in 2007.Mr. Frank draws from his early career experience as a human resources manager (1977 – 1988) and appointments and task force assignments by Governor Parris Glendening (1995 – 2003) to formulate strategies and provide expert advice on health care cost containment and coverage access. He served on the Maryland Health Care Foundation Board of Trustees as member and Treasurer (1997 – 2004).Jon presently serves as a consumer member of the Maryland Board of Physicians.
