Develop relationships with policy makers and regulators, raising the profile of the American Kidney Fund as the leading kidney disease advocacy organization. Serve as a spokesman, panelist, and subject matter expertise for external audiences, focusing on kidney disease issues. Plan state advocacy fly-in events, providing training and engagement opportunities for grassroots advocates. Lead a national state-focused kidney disease alliance composed of patient advocates, medical professionals, allied nonprofit organizations and industry partners.
