Managing a team of Facilities Officers, Reception/Portering Staff and Service Support Operatives in the safe management of a 55+ building portfolio across Durham and Darlington.Writing and distribution of monthly report highlighting; multiple contractor KPI achievements, compliance status, backlog maintenance, cleaning & building audits and Health & Safety.Attendance and chairing meetings for Health & Safety, Medical Gas, Water Safety Group, Tenant Meetings, Contractor Performance Meetings and Team Meetings at all levels.Contract management of various small and large contracts. Statutory Compliance monitoring to ensure that the properties constantly meet regulations. Data gathering and uploading to property management software (MiCAD) for ease of access by all levels of management. Regular communication with landlords to keep all information in date and to ensure any actions raised are remedied. In the last 12 months NHSPS identified 27 compliance elements to be constantly monitored and reported on. Since these targets have been set I have managed to improve compliance from 17% to around 95% by visiting sites to carry out risk assessments, writing management and action plans, chasing landlords and contractors for documentation, arranging work for those areas where documentation is not available and working alongside Health Safety Security and Fire (HSSF) colleagues to ensure all required standards are achieved.
