Jon is a writer and musician with a Master's Degree in Ethnomusicology from The University of Sheffield. He has written novels, novellas, poems, plays, and musicals, spanning diverse genres and media, such as fiction, autobiography, poetry, screenwriting, and podcasting. He is also the managing director of Kakapo Arts Ltd, a company that produces and promotes creative arts projects.He has worked with renowned actors and directors, such as Emilia Fox, Martin Shaw, Hugh Quarshie, Maxine Peake, James Wilby, Claire Goose, Steven Berkoff, and Edward Fox, on various films, audiobooks, and plays. His short film The Beachcombers, based on his own poem, won multiple awards, including best short and best soundtrack. His novel The Man Who Made Them Happy and his screenplay The House on the Roof of the World has an amazing director attached and hopefull will start to shoot next year. He is passionate about creating original and engaging stories that explore themes of love, loss, and mystery.Jon recently performed at this years Edinburgh Fringe - two shows: one for children (The Music Man) and a talk called Good Grief which between them garnered great pro and audience reviews and big audiences.
