Key Responsibilities: ● Manage numerous projects, including the installation of CAT5, CAT6 and fibre optic cables with the aim of delivering network connectivity for a range of equipment from varied manufacturers, monitor all project deliverables including timing, scope and budgets to mitigate any risks ● Employ strong communication skills to establish relationships with customers to gain insights into their needs, responding to the network needs of international data and call centres, and maintaining the service of telecommunications to a consistently high standard ● Demonstrate a strong methodological approach to ensure the delivery of a high quality service, whilst mitigating and minimising any outage period on live systems ● Utilise forward planning and leadership skills to plan and prepare for individual installations ● Undertake various assignments on customer sites, including Heathrow Terminal 5, inspecting and testing cabling that had been installed by other companies, reporting back to BAA and British Airways, and a nationwide roll-out of router upgrades for a major high street jewellery chain ● Direct the installation of VOIP contract for a large, national bank, which included migrating phone lines from analogue to digital ● Additional projects included IMAC, BAU, installations and testing
