I am an Analyst at CBIZ in their Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation department.I studied for my undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama, where I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in finance and economics and a minor in Spanish.During my sophomore and junior years of college, I was an English Second Language teacher that tutored children with a novice understanding of the English language. By using my in-depth knowledge of both Spanish and English, I communicated to parents and teachers the students' progress and cultivated an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.As a rising senior, I interned at Marcum LLP in the Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation department, which I carried on with remotely part-time during my final year of undergrad. I learned the different methodologies and standards to value private businesses, primarily for use in matrimonial cases. After successfully collaborating with team members and lawyers, I was offered a full-time position at their Chicago branch, where I continued working until the acquisition by CBIZ.
