I was a Lead Specialist in the Office of Evaluation and Oversight. I led and contributed to the office's evaluations, including sector evaluations, corporate evaluations, and country program evaluations. Some of the evaluations I led and contributed to included the evaluation of the Bank's support for gender equality and development with identity (indigenous and afro-descendant peoples), the evaluation of the Bank's support to the agriculture sector, corporate evaluations of the Bank's governance, restructuring, and operational efficiency, and the country program evaluations for Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Colombia, Guyana, and Honduras.

I taught Development Economics in the Master´s in Applied Economics program.

I worked in the Office of International Debt and Development Policy covering issues such as food security, financial inclusion, and health. I was also in the Office of Investment Security, which manages the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and implements the U.S. open investment policy. I worked in the Middle East and North Africa Office where I analyzed economic and financial issues in Turkey, the Persian Gulf, Israel, and the West Bank and Gaza. I also managed Treasury's engagement with senior economic officials in these countries.I have also contributed to the development of U.S. policy toward multilateral development banks. My work mostly covered the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

I advised the U.S. Executive Director on Bank policies and projects. I represented the U.S. at the Board of Executive Directors and at the Board committees. I also represented the U.S. at the Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Investment Corporation and the Donors Committee of the Multilateral Investment Fund.

I conducted economic analysis for various GAO reports and testimonies presented to the United States Congress on international issues including: WTO and FTAA negotiations; the International Monetary Fund's ability to predict and resolve financial crises; Iraq post-war reconstruction; and the UN's Oil For Food Program in Iraq. Areas of analysis included international trade and finance and economic development. Specific technical analyses included: Econometric analysis of the International Monetary Fund's ability to predict financial crises; Industry sector analysis, which directly led to the restructuring of the United State's Trade Policy Advisory Committee System; and Analysis of tariff negotiations in the World Trade Organization and the Free Trade Area of the Americas.

I taught the course Economic Growth and Development. I also was a teaching assistant for Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. I received the Economics Department’s Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.

I wrote computer programs, lecture notes, and gathered data for professors Robert Tamura, Gerald Nordquist, and B. Ravikumar.
