I Specialize in the repair and upgrade of vintage audio equipment. Threshold, Forte pre-amps and amplifiers. I also perform restoration work on many other brands to include:Adcom, Aragon, Bedini, Classe Audio, Krell, Nakamichi, Mark Levinson, Stax. I am also able to service tube amplifiers such as Fender and other guitar amps.Many older pieces of equipment can be successfully restored to new or even better performance with modern parts.

Supporting such legendary equipment in the High End audio market is rather satisfying. Throughout the 80s & 90s many great sounding and beautifully crafted equipments were created. Several manufactures contributed in the effort to combine visual art with the recreation of music. Of course much of this equipment is worth keeping around if it can be repaired. With creative thinking the right parts supplies, most of these pre-amps and power amps can be fully restored to last 20-30 more years.

While I worked at Threshold for Nelson Pass, I was able to participate in many roles. Some of these things included the service and repair of company products. Also, managed customer complaints and service repair needs. I held Manufacturing Engineering roles that included creating production test fixtures and procedures, optimizing process flow and implementing inline testing.
