CurrentProvides management, oversight, and leadership of the Civil Works Integration Division’s National Programs and serve as the Civil Works lead for the Data management nd modernization prgrams . This includes but is not limited to serving as the principal advisor to the Senior Executive Service Director of Programs on data management and automated information endeavors.Providing leadership and guidance in responding to issues raised by the Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations, Director of Civil Works, Chief of Engineers, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works), and the Office of Management and Budget, as well as, Congressional sub-committees members responsible for the Corps' Civil Works AppropriationsLead the program’s support of all digital and automated information system requirements to develop and manage the annual appropriations and funding processes for the Civil and Emergency Operations Directorate missions. Oversee and provide and strategic direction for the operation, maintenance, and modification of the Civil Works Program’s automated information systems utilized in the day to day operations of the Civil Works missions. Specifically, ensure the interoperability of data; establish data sharing; educate Civil Works mission areas data informed decision processes, institutionalizing data-driven decisions.Corps of Engineers' mission encompassing the nationwide activities of over 24,888 employees who operate and maintain infrastructure valued at $232 billion that includes 609 dams, 4,330 recreation area and 12,000 miles of waterway and 936 harbors across the United States and U.S. territories
