Supervised all major regulatory functions, which consisted of permit processes, environmental impact statement development, NEPA, public outreach, training and post permit compliance and enforcement processes

Evaluated complex Department of the Army permits under the regulation of the Clean Water Act and Rivers and Harbors Act. All reviews of work in waters of the United States work was done to ensure that regulated activities were not contrary to the public interest, considering environmental, social, and economic concerns. Promoted efficiencies, and directed the enforcement of Federal laws, regulations, and Department of the Army policies across Florida, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
