About Jon Stride

FMAAT, ATT (Fellow)I was proud to join Institute Council at The Association of Taxation Technicians in September 2016.I have worked in a variety of roles in a tax and accounting environment - in industry, for a private investment bank and in practice.I am a committee member of the CIOT/ATT Somerset & Dorset Branch, and I have various voluntary roles with CIOT/ATT, these being:Vice Chairman of the joint ATT/CIOT Working Together Sub-Committee (currently acting chairman), and panelist on HMRC Working Together Digitally webinars, and occasionally, HMRC Talking Points presentations. Co-Chair of the Technical Steering Group at ATT.ATT Representative on the professional bodies Issues Overview Group (IOG) until December 2021.I work in practice in the West Country. I became a Fellow of AAT in February 2016, and a Fellow of ATT in April 2016. I studied for a Diploma in Leadership and Management with the Institute of Leadership & Management in 2019, and in 2021 commenced studying for an MbA in Leadership with Lincoln University. #Lifelonglearning.
