I’m a Project Manager and Transportation Engineer with over 30 years of experience in both the technical and management aspects of transportation projects. I believe transportation projects are more than traffic flow or reducing crashes. Transportation improvements offer the opportunity to transform communities, by making transportation safer and more reliable, with tailored solutions designed to fit each unique community. Project experience encompasses feasibility studies, alternative analyses, project development and design, from intersection improvements, complex corridor improvements, shared use paths, complete streets, access management studies, bicycle plans and riverfront master plans. Noteworthy projects include the Montgomery Road improvements, planning and implementing Beechmont Avenue access improvements, the Little Miami Scenic River Trail and Blue Ash’s Summit Park.

Jon is Director of KZF’s Transportation Group and provides technical and management of all aspects of transportation engineering projects, from planning to final design/construction. He is particularly adept at alternative analyses, geometric design, corridor improvements, multi-modal design and project development. He has considerable experience in traffic analysis/flow and managed multiple roadway realignment, corridor studies and intersection improvement projects. He is ODOT certified in: Safety Studies, Interchange Justification Studies, Environmental Document (NEPA) Coordination, Traffic Signal Design; and FHWA trained in Context Sensitive Design, Roundabout Design and Bicycle Facility Planning/Design.
