Serve as the Information Technology (IT) Program Manager responsible for assisting in the implementation, operational status, and coordination of IT/Telecomm requirements for DoD organizations in the Pentagon and throughout the National Capitol Region (NCR). Responsible for obtaining customer requirements through operation of Telecommunications & IT systems and assist customers with basic, routine, or complex problems. Responds as the first/second tier customer interface and provide customers with objective and unbiased technical support by addressing customer inquiries, incidents and problems related to IT issues. Serve as the WITS 3 COR and Designated Agency Representative Administrator (DARA) for all DoD within the NCR. Conducted a Telecom Fair Opportunity for all DoD within the NCR and responsible for the management and procurement of all IT & Telecom services off the WITS3 Contract administered by GSA. Technical advisor on various IT & telecom issues including network management, initiating acquisitions, procurement, documenting action items, monitoring contractor performance, implementation and operation for the JSP DoD consolidated telecommunications network in the NCR.

Perform duties requiring knowledge of telecommunications and IT principles, technical practices, Federal/DA/IMCOM guidance, and technologies. Duties require the capacity to plan, organize, and execute telecommunications and IT projects in response to HQ IMCOM and customer needs, and the technical knowledge and skills to investigate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex telecommunications and IT problems reported by customers/users. Employ verbal/communications and interpersonal skills in building and maintaining working relationships with IMCOM decision-makers, IT/other technical specialists, and telecommunications/IT users and vendors/others. Use sound judgment, interpret, adapt, and apply technical guidance ranging over IT, telecommunications, facilities, and related areas. Assignment requires technical capacities to support HQ IMCOM near-term/strategic planning and to provide practical solutions for customer requirements.
