I am currently working at Crediton Dairy Limited, which is a small company based in North Devon producing long life and flavoured milks. They have a wide retail customer base including Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Co-op and Aldi. My role as Supply Chain Manager involves all aspects of supply chain for the business, from haulier and customer management to procurement and factory planning.I am currently responsible for a team of four staff looking after the following areas:-o Ingredients and Procurement of packaging and consumables for the site.o Customer order processing (Chilled and Ambient)o Implementation new product packaging and Key events (promotions etc)o Factory Planning on a week to week basisI also manage the weekly work with the third party haulage contracts for outbound logistics (Culina and Gregorys hauliers).

Arla foods, a farmer’s milk co-operative based in Denmark, handling 13 billion litres of milk a year and with over 13,000 farmers in Europe. Arla foods manufacture a wide range of dairy brands and products including Lurpak butter, Cravendale fresh milk and Anchor cheese.Responsibilities and achievements:-- Capacity management for the five Arla Fresh Dairy sites in the UK representing 2bn litre UK milk production (approx. 15% of all UK milk production, 35% of UK fresh milk production).- Working within the supply chain to optimise the Fresh dairy production at sites to allow both efficient inbound and outbound movements.- Liaising and providing strategic analysis for senior key stakeholders in the business with the overall objective of returning the best returns possible to the Arla farm owners.- Reviewing all fresh formats and identifying site capacity constraints.- Managing key events/project co-ordination including light weight eco bottle implementation and managing additional 80 million fresh business from Morrison in March 2015.- Continuous Improvement review on production location and inter site movements.
