Risk ManagementI have responsibility for developing and embedding the risk management framework and associated processes for MAG that clearly link to organisational strategic aims. A fundamental part of this is to ensure that the Airport Leadership Teams, ExCo and Board Sub-Committees including the Audit Committee have a clear, accurate and current view of the risk profile of the organisation and associated mitigation strategies.InsuranceI am responsible for leading and strategy development for the Group’s complex insurance portfolio. Key to this is ensuring that the Group’s transferable risks are adequately protected through the right levels of insurance cover whilst securing value for money from brokers and insurers. I lead all aspects of broker oversight and coaching and developing a team to support with claims management, management information and core insurance decision making processes.

Chartered accountant (ACA) and have been working for KPMG’s Public Sector Audit Department since September 2007. I have worked on both internal and external audit at a range of clients from the NHS, Education, Local Government and Housing sectors. I currently manage a portfolio of internal audit and external audit clients. This involves managing junior colleagues and liaising with senior client staff to ensure they are receiving a high quality service. I am also an accredited counter fraud specialist which I undertook to expand my range of experience and provide a valuable service to my clients.
