I’m a math educator who has delivered effective instruction in math education to students at the middle school, high school, and college level. I use a conceptual approach to questioning students by asking questions that were both open-ended and meaningful. The result is students will articulate an understanding of the subject matter that goes beyond procedural knowledge. The more students can explain their understanding, the more confidence they will have in their abilities. I have also used technology such as a Smart Board to implement dynamic lessons for the Algebra II curriculum.
