I grew up a "Mountain Boy" in North Carolina, but after 29 years of service with the U.S. Army, I am setting down roots in upstate South Carolina to start the next chapter of my life. I love to read and travel. I have over one thousand books at home, and I have visited 25 countries around the world. My passion is to support and empower the people I interact with, providing them with profitable career and education advice that will move them in a positive direction in life.In my previous career with the Army, I was employed as an engineer, photographer, project manager, and a recruiter. The last 18 years I served as a recruiter, and I loved every moment of it (almost). A person is not a number to me, but a unique individual who has goals they want to achieve. Life goals, career goals, and educational goals. I will always be seen using my skills and experience to motivate others to achieve their goals while achieving my own and those of the organization I work for.I care how my actions affect each individual I interact with. I am honest, transparent, respectful, and will go out of my way to make a difference for someone else. I like to counsel others and will always put time aside for them when needed. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing those I advocated for achieve their goals.My quest for serving others will never cease!
