As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, mentored 12 Lean Six Sigma Green Belts on projects in areas such as project scoping, event execution, and the implementation of counter measures. Provided guidance on the use of process improvement tools such as the SIPOC (a project scoping tool), process mapping, value stream mapping, impact difficulty matrices, governing work libraries, 5S (workplace organizational tool), and project tracking tools. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, I lead process improvement projects throughout the Region. This includes leading kaizen, lean, process development, six sigma, and other projects. I also co-lead the Region's Team of Lean Six Sigma practitioners, tracking projects and results, organizing training for the Team, leading meetings, and providing training to the workforce.I am a State Coordinator and coordinate meetings between EPA and State executives. I manage a grant with one of the 4 states, ensuring that the state is funded and can successfully implement EPA programs. I am the Region's Local Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator where I work with employees with disabilities, ensuring that they have the necessary accommodations in place to be successful in their jobs. Regional expert on on issues related to reasonable accommodation and other disability related subjects.Manage projects as assigned and work with teams on a daily basis. Organize, facilitate, and lead meetings regularly, on a number of topics.

I have a variety of responsibilities as an EEO Specialist. These responsibilities include analyzing civil rights laws and regulations, conducting EEO counseling, coordinating reasonable accommodations, and representing EPA Region 7 on two contracts. EPA Region 7's EEO Office is responsible for analyzing Regional policies, practices, and procedures to ensure that they are in line with the various civil rights laws and regulations. This helps ensure that there are no barriers to discrimination in the Region and that all employees have an equal right to advance based on merit and ability.Employees have rights provided through laws and regulations and when they believe they have been discriminated against, they can file complaints through the EEO Office. When complaints are filed, I act as an EEO Counselor, taking the employees through the EEO process by explaining their rights under the law, discussing their allegations of discrimination, interviewing management officials, and reporting out at the conclusion. I am the Local Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator for the Region. I work with employees with disabilities to ensure they have the necessary equipment to successfully perform their jobs. This involves communicating with employees about their disabilities and their particular needs, facilitating the request process, and procuring reasonable accommodations as appropriate. I work with managers in the process to ensure they operate within the law.Representing the Agency on 2 contacts, I oversee the contacts for sign language interpreters and the Employee Assistance Program. I estimate costs of the contract, develop performance work statements, develop procurement request, and work with the contracting officer to announce and select the contractor. I ensure that contractors are performing within the scope of the performance work statement agreed on in the contract.

Served as a squad leader, in charge of the training and development of 10 soldiers. Ensuring that the maintenance performed on the $19 Million aircraft was performed safely, and accomplished in an efficient and effective manner.Acted as a Phase Team Leader, overseeing scheduled maintenance, dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling all major parts of the aircraft.
