As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, mentored 12 Lean Six Sigma Green Belts on projects in areas such as project scoping, event execution, and the implementation of counter measures. Provided guidance on the use of process improvement tools such as the SIPOC (a project scoping tool), process mapping, value stream mapping, impact difficulty matrices, governing work libraries, 5S (workplace organizational tool), and project tracking tools. Conducted scoping meetings with management and process owners to analyze their process improvement needs.Played an integral role in the success of the Process Excellence program by working with Black Belts and the Process Excellence Project Manager to set the strategic direction for the Team; develop tools and resources for Team Members, managers and supervisors, and staff; and brief senior executives on progress and future program goals and plans. Developed and conducted training on process improvement tools and principals for the workforce, Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts. Specifically, developed 7 different training classes on topics such as conducting kaizen events, using A3 documents, 5S, and using Microsoft Visio to name a few.Coordinated and led Process Excellence Team meetings and retreats as well as lunch project discussions which were geared at keeping Team members up-to-date on Team priorities and goals, guidance from the Headquarters Lean program, Regional practices, and other program-related information. Led Lean Process Improvement projects across the Region, clarifying of roles and responsibilities, reducing process waste and costs, and promoting quality and consistency of the process. Displayed strong skills in project management, facilitation, conflict resolution, briefing management, and written and oral communication in the completion of these projects.
