I am the Local Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator for the Region. I work with employees with disabilities to ensure they have the necessary equipment to successfully perform their jobs. This involves communicating with employees about their disabilities and their particular needs, facilitating the request process, and procuring reasonable accommodations as appropriate. I work with managers in the process to ensure they operate within the law.Representing the Agency on 2 contacts, I oversee the contacts for sign language interpreters and the Employee Assistance Program. I estimate costs of the contract, develop performance work statements, develop procurement request, and work with the contracting officer to announce and select the contractor. I ensure that contractors are performing within the scope of the performance work statement agreed on in the contract.
