I work very closely with Financial Aid and Compliance professionals to ensure processes and data meet all government, state, and university regulations and standards. What I enjoy most about my job, is automating the “routine” processes. I use delivered functionality PS Query, Equation Engine, Population Update, and Jobs/Jobsets to automate manual processes. In addition, I regularly attend conferences, webinars, and network with fellow data analysts to gain and share best practices. Some of my other duties include: - Troubleshooting for PeopleSoft Financial Aid Module for all users. - Support and train financial aid analysts and processors.- Provide financial aid data support and training to other departments: Student Records, Admissions, Institutional reporting and Research, Alumni Affairs, Advancement, etc.- Works with EDM to coordinate and test PeopleSoft bundles (PUM), patches, fixes, and third-party integrations (campuslogic, highpoint mobile). - Oversee all Financial Aid automated processes: ISIRs, Budgets, Financial Aid Terms, Mass Packaging, Repackaging, 3Cs, Authorization/Disbursements.- Maintain all Financial Aid set-up tables and records.- Oversees all Federal and State exports/imports.- Creates and improves auditing processes for all Federal Aid, State Aid and institutional scholarships/grants. - Creates/Maintains Financial Aid business process guides with thorough step-by-step instructions, explanations, and screenshots. - Coordinates and assists in the “Aid Year Rollover” annual process. - Assists with FISAP annually. - Creates/maintains/validates PS queries, reports, and dashboards. Participate in weekly communication and validation of the latest production plan with corporate flow managers and retail teams. Weekly launch work orders and sales orders, and provide daily reports regarding the current status of each work order launched. Daily involvement in the production review to provide quick and effective alternatives to minimize the adverse effects of unpredicted restraints.
