15 years of helping laboratories and the individuals working in them expand their capabilities, still thirsty for knowledge and growth. Currently responsible for a team of 65+, mostly chemists, and proud to say I’ve held just about every one of those positions throughout my career. Developed methods on HPLC, GC, MS, working in pesticide registration, food chemistry, residue analysis, forensic toxicology and dietary supplements. Over the last several years I’ve been out of the lab managing projects, budgets, hiring, implementing process improvements, introducing automation and leading lab infrastructure improvements including the design of lean and modernized lab spaces. Never afraid to challenge the status quo, my least favorite saying is “That’s the way we have always done it.” Onward and upward.
