I am a control system integrator/programmer using Tridium Niagara.I am currently developing new software to use on this platform, this includes drivers to communicate with other systems and devices and custom logic blocks all using Java.The devices are usually communicating over BACnet or Modbus protocols either using IP or MSTP. The communication protocols are also tuned to allow as much information to flow as possible.I am constantly developing new software using Java for use on Sedona devices by extending the Sedona framework using the public API.I have designed and created graphics for Building Management Systems in New Zealand and Australia. By using the Tridium Niagara platform I have successfully shown an accurate graphical representation of all mechanical services and lighting for massive buildings.As Control Concepts is the only Elite Dali (Lighting Protocol) certified integrator in New Zealand, I am very familiar with lighting system within a commercial environment.My work as a programmer and developer has contributed to the first Green Star Building 5 star rating. The rating has been given to a massive mechanical services building for the New Zealand Air Force in Ohakea. This project collects and stores 1,600,000 points of information a day, this information can be stored for over 20 years and can be pinpointed to an exact minute in time.I am also in charge of designing IP networks for large commercial buildings including firewalls and IP configurations. These networks are usually carrying vital information (Carbon Monoxide readings etc) from one side of a building to another so the design must be well thought out.My day includes many more activities but there is not enough room to list them :)
