Since I was a kid, I have enjoyed building with Lego's. Specifically, I enjoy building Lego cars, Scale model Lego, and Lego Star Wars. My favorite thing about Lego's is the required attention to detail and precision. If you put a piece in the wrong position early in the build it can make completing the build correctly impossible and require you to take it apart to find the mistake. When I was 14, I thought that my interest in Lego's would translate to an engineering future, but quickly learned that was not the case. When I took my first accounting course, financial accounting I noticed it required the same attention to detail and precision. Accounting is like building with Lego's because you start with a base and as you progress with creating your financial documents, you are able to see how all the pieces fit together. I am ready and excited that accounting is going to be the largest and longest build I will attempt. When I graduate, I plan on attaining my CPA license.
