I'm an aspiring IT Computer Network and Systems Support Specialist with a CompTIA/TestOut Security Pro Certification and over 4+ years of experience in the computer systems industry as an Electrical Engineer. I am seeking to use my new IT certifications and skills as I transition into the IT/Cybersecurity industry.A little more about me personally, I grew up in Arizona. I always had a knack for mathematics and analytical thinking. I received my degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Then I applied my skills to my first job at Honeywell Aerospace. After a successful four years engineering at Honeywell, I wanted to try something new in the world of helping people face to face. I have always been intrigued by my historical homeland Israel. The culture of my family and the land of Israel have always fascinated me. Therefore I decided to teach English overseas in Israel to lower income, immigrant youth.I enjoyed teaching and when I came back to the United States I started substitute teaching. I began teaching online during the pandemic. Once we were allowed to go back in class, I started teaching 7th grade science and coaching the robotics club. During this time I realized how I missed engineering, but I wanted to engineer in a different way then before. I decided to start taking web development, python and cybersecurity courses at San Diego Continuing Education College. After taking these extra courses I found a passion for Cybersecurity. Throughout my life I have always been focused on safety and security for myself and those around me. I feel it's imperative in this day and age of technology to protect our online information, be that personal or business.I look to use my skills and passion to help secure our world a little more from bad actors.
