I am a scientist at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), a world leading centre for weather and climate prediction, and an expert in meteorology and climate science. I have a PhD in Geographical Sciences from the University of Bristol and a MSci in Mathematics from King's College London. At ECMWF, I work in the long-range (seasonal) prediction team, where I focus on the role of coupled (land-atmosphere and ocean-atmosphere) processes in weather and climate prediction. I apply my skills in climate modeling, atmospheric science, and climate change science to develop and improve global and regional prediction systems, and to investigate the impacts of climate change on weather and climate variability and extremes. I also collaborate with researchers and forecast users from academia, national weather and climate services, and other sectors to advance the scientific knowledge and societal benefits of weather and climate prediction. My research and publications can be found on Research Gate or Google Scholar.

NERC funded Post Doc in the decadal prediction group of Dr. E. Hawkins, working on the Arctic Predictability and Prediction on Seasonal to Interannual TimE scales (APPOSITE) project. This is a multi-institutional project investigating the mechanisms for initial condition predictability in the Arctic.
Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan
Post Doc in the climate uncertainty estimation group of Drs J. Hargreaves and J. Annan working on the Japan Uncertainty Estimation Project (JUMP). I demonstrated that 5-30% of the decline in sea ice extent since 1979 is related to Atlantic Multi-decadal variability. This research was featured in the Guardian Newspaper and BBC news.
