I created a simple plan to help companies suck less based on three simple principles. Ready, here we go; all that needs to be done to suck less is this, See, Hear and Matter.People want to be seen, their voices to be heard and everyone wants their lives to matter.I sat down with my team, and we identified three areas where we were failing: Proposal Writing, Customer Success and Client Service Delivery.Using this process, my team did the following:*Revamped a broken (nonexistent) Proposal Writing and Management process to deliver a 55% increase in win rates*Crafted a Customer Success Program that led to the highest Net Promoter/Customer Satisfaction Scores in the company for eight consecutive years*Achieved a 90% retention rate on all contracts (50% better than the industry standard)*Built cross-functional relationships which led to a 450% revenue increase over six years*Won every major award the company hands out over that same six years*100% completion rate of all projects on time and under budget*Highest upsell rate in the company at 35%*Went from worst to first in 18 months and maintained number one ranking for three straight years (it would've been longer, but we had to let someone else win)Well, that's my story.
