Administers and oversees the Individual Training Management Program within the Texas Military Department. Exercises technical responsibility for the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) and Army Funding Allocation Module (AFAM). ATRRS program manager for the organization and liaison between State level elements and National Guard Bureau (NGB). Provides program assistance and guidance to training personnel in the operations and maintenance of various automated systems. Interprets Department of the Army, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and National Guard Bureau (NGB) training regulations, manuals, policies, procedures and ensures compliance with all pertinent regulations and local directives.Analyzes personnel data, historical data, and current training priorities to develop accurate individual training requirements for the Program Objective Memorandum and the Regional Training Coordination Conference Program by extracting data from ATRRS and other sources. Adjusts the training program during execution year using the Training Resource Arbitration Program process to measure the effectiveness of quotas and quotas use. Provides training statistics for the Quarterly Army Performance Review for execution year quota utilization.

Responsible for supervising the successful accomplishment of the Commander's mobilization readiness objectives; anticipates and recommends solutions for needs of the unit in all aspects of unit readiness and training; acts as the Commander's day to day representative and spokesman in the daily operations of a 79 employee organization. Ensures the highest rate of operational readiness status is met and maintained. Supervises and oversees the project management lifecycle for the organization’s objectives.

Prepares all unit level training schedules for a 170 employee sub organization. Develops training calendars and briefings; ensures all training requirements and logistical support are highlighted and forecasted; prepares and executes the monthly unit training targets. Analyze data for the organizational lead to make decisions based on shortfalls or surplus of training resources.

Responsible for the forecasting and reservation of resources for collective and organizational training events for a 600 employee organization. Conduct application approval and disapproval for individual training requirements. Collects and combines novel sources of data in order to ascribe value and enable the Battalion Commander to make operational decisions. Assists in the management and execution of funds for individual and collective training.

Responsible for the health & welfare of 8 Soldiers and their professional & career development. Receive orders for execution of decisive military operations in high stress and non-permissive environments.
